Laura, special assistant to the President and The White House director of events for the Clinton administration, created and executed more than 600 White House events during her time in Washington. While producing the President on the world stage every day, leaving no room for error, she demonstrated the Presidency’s ability to inspire a nation and the world through powerful events.

Laura will kick off the 2009 catersource and Event Solutions Conference & Tradeshow with a motivational presentation during the Opening Session. She’ll discuss the power of conventions and events, reflect on the excitement of this industry and the importance of treating your clients’ guests like your own.

Laura can be seen on the Fox News Channel where she serves as a political analyst on “The O’Reilly Factor,” “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” “ Hannity and Colmes” and “Fox and Friends.” 

Then don’t miss catersource Lifetime Achievement award winner Phila Hach as she once again takes the main stage after her overwhelmingly popular visit last year. With her trademark wit and warmth she will explore the world of “food, feelings and fun.” Phila will share her views on what makes a caterer a successful participant in the hospitality industry, as well as her thoughts on sensuous food and creativity in catering.

In her professional life Phila has been a caterer, innkeeper, restaurateur, event planner, television personality, flight attendant and author of 14 cookbooks. Phila happily works nine-hour days in her 15,000-square-foot facility that handles meetings and catering for up to 1,500 guests in Joleton, TN, near Nashville.
